We are not a church, not a denomination, and not affiliated with any Bible society or publisher. Nothing in the app is professional advice of any kind, including legal, medical, financial or pastoral advice.
Scroll by Heart reads the Bible aloud, one short scene at a time. It contains 4,024 narrated scenes covering every verse of the World English Bible, a feed of those scenes, an ordered plan through the whole Bible called The Path, and a verse memory system called Memory.
The app also has a plain text reader. The reader is free. It needs no purchase and no account, and it works without a network connection.
Anyone may use the free reader. To buy anything you need an Apple Account, and where your local law requires it you must be an adult or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
There are no user accounts in Scroll by Heart. You do not sign in. There is no user generated content, no messaging between users, and no advertising.

Apple shows prices in your local currency, and they can differ by country.
All purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Apple is the merchant of record. We never receive or see your payment details.
The yearly subscription starts with a 7 day free trial. At the end of the trial it becomes a paid subscription automatically, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal.
We send a reminder before you are charged:
If a renewal payment fails, a billing grace period of 16 days applies. You keep access during that time while Apple tries the payment again.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or the next period is charged. If you cancel during a free trial you are not charged, and you keep access until the trial ends.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. If Apple refunds you, your access ends.
We may change prices. Apple notifies existing subscribers of a price rise and, where the law requires it, asks for your consent before charging the new price. If you do not agree you can cancel before the change takes effect.
We give you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use Scroll by Heart for your own personal, non commercial use, on devices you own or control, for as long as these terms are respected.
The Bible text itself is public domain. Nothing in this section restricts what you may do with the scripture text, which belongs to everyone.
The scripture text in the app is public domain and free for anyone to use. The full list of texts and licences is on our Content and licences page.
The narration recordings, the app, its design, its software, its data, and all text other than scripture are owned by Loch Partners LLC.
Scene images are generated from text prompts by an image model. We claim no copyright in the generated images themselves.
Scroll by Heart is a trademark of Loch Partners LLC.
We use a small number of services to run the app. They are listed, with what each one receives, in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they do.
The app is provided as it is and as it is available. To the fullest extent the law allows we make no warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or available at all times.
Some countries do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the app is limited to the amount you paid us, through Apple, in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
You can end it at any time by cancelling any subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we do that without good reason while you have paid for a period, we will ask Apple to refund the unused part.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in Florida are the venue for disputes.
If you are a consumer living outside Florida or outside the United States, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give reasonable notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
